PS. Once the essence of decriminalized Marijuana plagues our country, there is no hope. Everyone will be high and the smoke will contribute towards global warming that will eventually wipe out all of society. But until that day comes, John Paul II is a pretty good school and would recommend more students to enroll to this school.

When this school first opened up I hade the hugest grudge on it ... basically when in previous years the grade 8 class where I attended school was always 90% for Montcalm Secondary School as their first choice then peoples second and third choices would be like joke choices ... ie: Medway Secondary, which is in farmville and not a soul really understood where it even was or how one would have been able to get their ... Its not like we really thought our parents were going to drive us outside of Londons City Limits (at the time) and so since JPII became one viable option although we weren't coming from a Catholic school ... out of approx. 90 graduates 8 that I can remember maybe a max of 3 to 7 more when in the many, many years prior to my grade 8 teacher at the time had mentioned the amount of students out of the graduatong class been no less then 80% of the grads were headingg to Montcalm. Then you had the remaining 20% going to other High Schools like Clark Road S.S. ... .. . Beal S.S. ... .. . Maybe 2 pupils headed to JPII as it was just recently finishe'd when I was going into grade 7 ... so by the time I gradult ed more pupils went to this school ... .. . even though they knew about dress codes, having to have a interr view if you were not already catholic, along with other rules regulations and things of that nature ... Funny thing is, is that in grade 10 a few transfers came over to Montcalm, grade 11 even more transfered. Come grade 12 yet more decided to come over to the school. So in the end probably any one who stayed at JPII, for theIr entirety ended up a drop-out with no diploma thanks to a movment that all started in the last half of grade 8 when our choices were to be put down in the attending schools that a few way back in grade 8 ... guess the popular figures in our classes steered some pupils in their direction. In the end about 60% of graduates in my grade 8 class gradyated or at least during their acedemic careers came over to Montcalm ... So I guess the religiosity never engrained itself into these peoples heads after all ...

While I can't say John Paul II is perfect, this school does provide an inclusive environment for students, both socially and education wise. The teachers in John Paul II are great. The school is well maintained. The student council is organized. The principal is humble and tries to relate with the students. The school is home to many diverse cultures. Overall the school is great. Having said that, in spite of the diverse school and responsible educational/maintenance workers, there are times where unfortunately students exchange drugs and anticipate fights. Having said that, school fights are uncommon and don't last long, and drugs in general are apart of modern culture.

School faculty refuses to solve the severe bullying and drug issues. If you ever wanted to witness a drug deal in broad daylight, take two minutes and drive past the school, you will see about eight drug deals. Sports teams are really bad. If you're gay or muslim and attend this school get ready to end up wanting to kill yourself because of the amount of bullying you'll experience. Absolute trash. I want this school to be torn down. Sooner the better.
