  After getting a filling in my molar by Dr. Mark Smith, it started becoming very sensitive to cold and biting, even after 3 months. I went back twice to do bite adjustment, but did not help. They took x-ray and assured me there is no crack. I used sensodyne toothpaste for 3 more months, nothing helped. 9 months later, it started hurting, throbbing on its own. It was so bad sharp shooting pain I never experienced before. I had to go to emergency dentist to perform root canal, and a week of antibiotics later, it is finally back to normal. the Endodontist who performed root canal informed me that there was a DEEP CRACK in the tooth which was caused the sensitivity and bacteria got into the pulp to cause infection. When Dr. Smith did the filling, I felt strong vibration as if he took the jackhammer to my tooth, my entire skull felt the vibration. The heavyhanded approach must have cracked my tooth. caused me months of pain and loss of $2500 for root canal and crown.

  Dr. Mark Smith is a top-notch dentist. Many don’t know this but he was the inventor of the comfort control syringe. Dr. Smith strives for painless dentistry. His calm nature adds to the overall experience of comfort in dentistry. My experience with Dr. Smith and his staff was very positive. I highly recommend him to everyone in the London Ontario area. A great family friendly dentist!

  There is no better dentist's office!! Between his support staff and the other dentists working with/for him I have always been treated with such respect, kindness, and gentleness. I have been a patient since my adult children were babies. I won't go anywhere else. A true TEAM!!
